- Some auction compounds are on the motorway network, others are awkward to reach and slower to clear.
- Release timing
- A car that is ready at the gate loads faster than one still being processed.
- Whether it starts
- Winching an unstarted lot adds a few minutes rather than a different price bracket.
- Storage clock
- The faster it clears, the less the site charges you, which is usually the real saving.
From Stourbridge the usual runs are local drops within West Midlands, deliveries into Halesowen and Brierley Hill, and longer routes joining the network at M5 J3. Long runs are quoted per mile with the return leg included, so the figure does not change on delivery day.

- That is the point of booking early. Once the release note is issued we can usually collect within two working days and deliver to Stourbridge straight after. The A458 keeps the truck route simple from our side.
- What if the auction car will not start?
- Expected, frankly. Auction stock stands for weeks. The winch handles it and the quote does not change. We have loaded plenty of vehicles near Stourbridge Industrial Estate.
- Do you deal with the release paperwork?
- The driver handles the gate process, but the release itself has to be issued to you by the auction house first. Send us the reference and we do the rest.
