Breakdown recovery, no membership needed
Breakdown recovery in Birmingham
Broken down and not with a breakdown club, or with one that has quoted you four hours? Ring us and pay for the one job.
- Lines open now, 24/7, 365
- Insured and licensed operators
- Fixed price before we set off
Breakdown recovery is what happens when the car has failed rather than crashed. Flat battery, dead starter, cambelt, clutch, overheating, fuel starvation, a warning light that will not clear. The vehicle is stopped and it is not going anywhere on its own.
We work pay as you go. There is no annual membership, no policy number to find and no argument about whether your cover includes home start. You ring, you get a price, we come out.
Where a roadside fix is realistic we will try it first. A jump start, a fuel drain, a wheel change or a temporary repair beats a tow for everyone. If it needs a bed, it goes on the bed.

Questions people ask
- Do I need breakdown cover to use you?
- No. We are pay as you go. You pay a single agreed price for the job in front of us, with no membership and nothing to renew afterwards.
- Is it cheaper than joining a breakdown club?
- For one breakdown, almost always. For someone who breaks down several times a year, a policy can work out better. We will tell you straight which one your situation looks like.
- Will you try to fix it at the roadside?
- Where it is safe and realistic, yes. Jump starts, wrong fuel drains, wheel changes and simple electrical faults are often sorted on the spot without a tow.
- My battery keeps going flat, is that a recovery job?
- Often it is a home start rather than a recovery. If the car starts on a jump pack and runs, the fault is usually the battery or the charging system, and we can get you to a garage under your own power.
- Can you recover me to my own mechanic?
- Yes. Home, your usual garage, a bodyshop or a main dealer. Tell the dispatcher the destination when you ring so it is in the price.
