Vehicle recovery covers more than cars. Vans mid delivery, light commercials with a full load, pickups, minibuses and non runners that have not turned a wheel in years all go on the same flatbeds.
The vehicle type changes the loading method rather than the service. A loaded van needs a different plan from an empty hatchback, and a non runner needs the winch. That is why the dispatcher asks about weight, load and whether it rolls.
Everything is priced flat and agreed before the truck sets off, whatever the vehicle turns out to be when the driver arrives.

Questions people ask
- What size vehicles can you recover?
- Cars, vans and light commercials up to 3.5 tonnes, plus pickups and minibuses within that weight. Tell us the vehicle when you ring and the right truck is sent first time.
- Can you recover a loaded van?
- Yes. Mention the load when you ring, because weight changes which truck comes out. Where the load needs to reach its destination, we can often transfer it to a replacement vehicle first.
- Do you recover vehicles that have not moved in years?
- Regularly. Seized brakes and flat tyres are handled with skates under the wheels, then the winch takes it onto the bed.
- Can you get a van out of a low car park?
- A flatbed cannot follow you under a height barrier, so we move the vehicle out to a ground level loading point on skates and load it on the street.
- Do you handle electric and hybrid vehicles?
- Yes. Electric vehicles go on a flatbed with all four wheels off the ground, which is the only correct way to move most of them.
